Title:  Quality Assurance – Technical Inspector

Reports to: Manager of Quality

Core Responsibilities:

·     Inspect, test and measure components and completed manufactured products. Ensure  

       components and products are consistent with engineering drawings and customer

       specifications.

  • Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Guarantee compliance of product with company and customer standards.
  • Quarantine all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
  • Report inspection and test data; maintain records of inspections.
  • Perform Incoming parts Inspections.
  • Manage quality related communications with vendors.
  • Maintain statistics and reports on rejected material, failures, quality concerns, and vendor returns.

Qualifications:

  • AS in Electronic Engineering is required. BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum three years related experience required.
  • Electrical technician, electrical production assembling, testing or inspection experience in a manufacturing setting desired.
  • Must possess eye for detail, strong ability to read schematics and enjoy ‘hands-on’ work.

Title: Quality Engineer

Reports to: Manager of Quality

Quality Engineer Position Summary:

The individual in this position is required to work independently; identify weaknesses in the current processes and areas of potential quality/efficiency improvements; effectively interact with personnel from other departments to help drive targeted improvements. This individual must demonstrate effective problem solving abilities and is required to possess good written/verbal communication skills.

The role includes Product quality review associated with the design and the manufacturing process. The position requires understanding of concepts, methods and procedures such as: quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes and incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Investigate manufacturing processes and coordinate efforts to correct any issues or deviations found.
  • Participates in and facilitates the design review process by working with Engineering and R&D to assure quality design and adequate change management.
  • Participates in activities for changes to production or design processes.
  • Ensure that BOMs contain all the proper components needed including drawings, and work instructions where needed.
  • Leads investigation efforts and accurately documents investigation plans.
  • Performs Failure Analysis.
  • Prepare and design quality test fixtures and assist in prototyping new components.
  • Analyzes trends related to various inspection and process activities and identifies root causes and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain an effective and consistent process control system for the manufacturing of components.
  • Develop and release quality documentation and plans and track approvals.
  • Provide statistical support during the development of new products and processes.
  • Knows and understands the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of the quality objectives.
  • Utilizes output of trend analysis to initiate investigations and or corrective/preventive action projects and manage process indicators.
  • Manages corrective and preventive action projects and assists with continuous improvement activities.
  • Manages QA System and ensures compliance to ISO9000.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering experience with focus in quality assurance, documentation and continuous improvement management required.

Title: Field Service Engineer

Reports to: Field Service Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at global customer locations.
  • Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast quality responses to both internal and external customers while maintaining a safety first mentality.
  • Develop action plans for problem resolution and present to internal and external customers.
  • Develop improvements for processes, hardware and software for continuous improvement of company’s equipment / business operation.
  • Work closely with sales team and complete a facility detail form for new systems to ensure ECI equipment complies with assigned location/space requirements at FAB.
  • Complete detailed Field Service Reports and submit to management in a timely manner.
  • Update Sales Force regularly.
  • Document issues that cannot immediately be resolved at customer site by using appropriate format.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years field service/customer support experience of sophisticated, complex precision equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical / electronic or mechanical engineering.
  • Must possess experienced troubleshooting techniques in repairing complex microprocessor controlled electro-mechanical systems.
  • Well-able to read and interpret electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and drawings.
  • .Ability to work with hand tools.
  • Knowledge in any of the following areas is a PLUS: Experience working in a FAB facility, closed loop communications control, electro-mechanical controls or microprocessor based controllers, chemical handling including acids, FAB safely requirements or practices.
  • Military experience is also a plus.
  • Outstanding professional customer service and strong interpersonal skills is essential.
  • Must be an independent thinker with strong problem solving capabilities.

Title: Project Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for overseeing the deliverables of our customers’ systems manufacturing projects/orders through the project lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to: qualifying requirements/specifications, engineering design, assembly & implementation, product testing and deployment.
  • From an operations point of view this requires planning and optimization of scheduling, managing and budgeting the material resources to ensure that quality products and solutions are delivered timely based upon our customers’ specifications.
  • Manage internal project tasks such as organizing project files, delegating tasks to team members throughout the organization and across departments, following up on task completion, maintaining & updating project status schedules and material & schedule planning.
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations to keep management, customers and internal stakeholders (management, engineering, product management, sales and production) informed of the project status and issues at headquarter and branch office locations.
  • Attend cross-departmental meetings and update project schedule.
  • Provide risk assessment of schedule and delivery of products.
  • Coordinate the ordering of project materials.
  • Assist ECI Customer Service team with follow up of project upgrades.
  • Build and manage internal and external client relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years' experience manufacturing environment A MUST / 2 + years’ experience in project management (or order management) required.
  • Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree is required;
  • Engineering background is helpful - SW or HW (electrical or mechanical).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel;MS-Project experience preferred; Familiarity with ERP tools and Sales Force is a big plus.
  • Possess ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines, and succeed in fast paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing several major projects involving diverse operations and technology groups.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and follow up skills.
