West Coast Business Unit & Key Account Manager

The West Coast Business Unit & Key Account Manager is responsible for the successful and profitable operation of the business unit. (S)He will supervise all activities, operations and staff within the West Coast territory and ensure projects are executed on time, to optimal customer satisfaction and in accordance with industry and company standards.

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to the following):

  • Liaison and trusted advisor with Tier one accounts (End users and OEMs) within the territory
  • Drive profitability of West Coast business unit
  • Partner with Research & Development teams on development of new products and processes
  • Strengthen existing and develop new relationships with prospective customers in order to increase future business opportunities
  • Identify industry trends, customers’ demands and recommend solutions to enhance ECI’s product portfolio
  • Provide feedback from the field to ECI headquarters
  • Assist sales in preparation and technical presentation of quotations in accordance with customer needs and company standards
  • Supervise field engineers and oversee support activities in the territory
  • Ensure compliance of all procedures within the business unit in accordance with company guidelines
  • Direct all staff within the business unit to accomplish the goals and objectives of the company
  • Hire, terminate and evaluate field and business unit staff
  • Ensure adequate training for staff
  • Monitor project, overhead and operating costs to ensure profitability
  • Complete monthly business unit report

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree a must, graduate degree preferred (business, chemistry or engineering).
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in semiconductor industry
  • Must have a chemistry/technical background
  • Ethically minded and able to work under pressure in challenging environments
  • Drive, flexibility, excellent leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with decision makers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite

Chemical Process Engineer
Location:  Portland, Oregon

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to the following):

  • Partner with Research & Development engineers and manufacturing team to implement new technologies at customer sites.
  • Review project specifications and implement project plans
  • Analyze and monitor customer requirements and provide support
  • Install, troubleshoot and service equipment and the chemical process supported by the equipment (In-house and at Customer Sites)
  • Partner with Process Chemist and Field Service Engineers to ensure the customers’ process equipment is set properly to provide optimal performance and efficiency in the production facility.
  • Write procedural documents

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BS in Chemical Engineering or Electro Chemistry plus hands-on experience, or MS degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Experience in Electro Plating or Semi-Conductor industry preferred.
  • Experience with electrical, fluid handling and electro-mechanical hardware a plus
  • Exceptional customer relations and training skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Field Service Engineer
Location: Portland, OR

ECI is looking for a top notch experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team located in Portland, OR. The qualified candidate will ensure that the highest standards of ECI’s quality measurements are met. ECI is the leading supplier of Chemical Management Systems to Tier One clients in the semiconductor industry.

 

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to the following)

  • Develop knowledge of ECI products and applications
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal sales team
  • Demonstrate equipment to prospects and customers
  • Perform installations and qualifications of the equipment
  • Assist with applications of new product development
  • Assist Research & Development team
  • Provide feedback from field
  • Perform technical presentations and assist with writing of technical papers
  • Submit weekly status reports 

Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in engineering.
  • BS or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and work in a team environment or independently
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
