Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

Core responsibilities

  • Knowledge of ECI facility as it relates to maintenance repair
  • Organize and prioritize work orders, preventative maintenance, and other related tasks in a timely manner
  • Recommend changes to building equipment and will improve operations efficiency, safety and production
  • Routine maintenance to maximize uptime (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
  • Maintain building and grounds; coordinate outside contractors (landscaping, snow plowing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Maintain facility compliance with all codes, licensure, OSHA, EPA
  • Oversee cleaning crew and supply inventory
  • Assist with facility improvement projects as assigned
  • Assist in maintaining chemical waste stream (drum handling, scheduled bulk waste collections)
  • Facilitations and De-facilitations of production equipment in the testing area
  • On-call emergency/production-related jobs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, and General Maintenance
  • Must be a strong a deadline-driven, multitasking team player
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is essential
