Core Mission

Assure delivery of high-quality systems meeting full customer satisfaction in a timely manner. Be a key player for customer success by understanding and recommending ways to improve ECI product quality. Work cross-departmentally to resolve urgent qualification issues and document “fixes” to prevent repetitive errors.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop a deep knowledge of ECI products (hardware and software), applications, analytical techniques, and processes
• Qualify system orders in the following manner:
  • Assure systems meet all purchase order specifications
  • Collaborate with sales for clarification of purchase orders
  • Verify product functionality
  • Prepare systems for smooth installation and qualification in the field to accelerate acceptance
  • Ensure systems are shipped in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot, document, and fix system issues; escalate to R&D, Engineering, Quality, and/or Production as needed to ensure timely resolution
• Approach issues with a sense of urgency and responsiveness. Escalate to management if necessary. Remain cognizant of shipping deadlines
• Provide a detailed summary to your manager documenting fixes, identify the root cause and recommend timely improvement
• Communicate system errors via a trouble log and send to your manager, Quality Manager, and VP of Operations for each system qualification
• Based upon qualification findings recommend improvements to product and/or part design with the goal to ease manufacturing and/or reduce costs
• Initiate improvements to the Qualification Plan Checklists to enhance the internal qualification process and improve quality prior to shipment
• Implement Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in an analytical lab and qualifications room
• Clean up chemicals and tools following each qualification to ensure safety
• Follow ECI safety policy and guidelines
• Provide backup to service team if qualification schedule allows

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Engineering related discipline – Chemical Engineering is preferred
• 1 – 3 years related experience
• Must possess a desire to improve quality and resolve product issues to the fullest extent
• Attention-to-detail, strong ability to problem solve is essential for this role
• Must be a strong communicator to work cross-departmentally.
