Reports to: President/CEO
Core responsibilities
- Align with CEO/President, Sales, R&D, and Engineering to establish product roadmap and overall ECI goals and product strategy
- Participate in and prepare product updates for periodic business reviews based upon market needs and customer feedback
- Assess market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share
- Review global sales opportunities with Engineering and R&D regarding new product applications to determine systems configurations and feasibility of projects
- Attend Control Change Board meetings; approve Engineering changes from a Product Management viewpoint
- Review new software feature requests from Engineering, R&D, and Service; prioritize and recommend top requests for upcoming releases
- Continuously keep current records/updates of all ECI products and corresponding documentation reflecting customers’ latest specifications and technological changes, engineering changes, and service recommendations, etc.
- Clearly define and document each product description including specifications, options, features, configurations, etc.
- Formalize the ChemPack® (ECI’s proprietary chemistry-specific recipes) BOM release in ERP system and ensure the Product Realization procedure is followed
- Announce and train global Sales, Service, Quality, and Production teams on product change releases on new/updated features, hardware or software changes, or end of life items
- Collaborate with Sales to gather input on changing market needs
- Collaborate with MarCom to update product presentations, spec sheets, and product press releases
- Recommend improvements, changes, and actions to products based upon feedback from the field
- Be a strong internal driver
- Attend semiconductor industry key trade shows relevant to ECI products
- Travel up to 20% of the time may be required
Qualifications
- 5+ years related Product Management experience in a technical company preferably within the semiconductor industry
- BS or MS degree in chemical engineering preferred, or related degree
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and experience with ERP system
- BS or AS degree required
- 2 + years relevant operations, logistics or business experience required
- Must be proficient in Excel and possess ERP system knowledge
- Prior Salesforce experience preferred
