Reports to: VP of Operations

Core responsibilities

• Enhance and reinforce the documentation control process via a strong partnership with Engineering, Production, Service and Quality departments
• Review and improve efficiency issues in the areas of fixturing, outsourcing, and material sourcing
• Improve standardization of parts; create an internal approval process
• Accountable for product and documentation “fixes” during the product qualification process; educate engineering (if design issue) or production (if craftsmanship issue)
• Manage the lifecycle of new product releases from a manufacturing point of view; create assembly instructions and drawings/photos for technicians to use as an assembly reference
• Work closely with mechanical draftsperson and documentation control analyst to remedy drawings and schematics of existing products

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field is a MUST
• Minimum five years working as a manufacturing/industrial engineer or related experience required. Semiconductor industry knowledge preferred.
• Well-versed in relevant software systems, CAD, MS, ERP and have strong computer skills
• Must be a proficient analyst, problem solver, and solution provider who enjoys making recommendations to deliver improvements
• Ability to drive results quickly and possess attention-to-detail
